The Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a powerful celebration of life, death, and legacy; honoring those who came before us and the strength their memory inspires.

Originating in Mexico and tracing back to ancient Aztec traditions honoring the goddess Mictecacihuatl, the holiday blends indigenous rituals with modern celebrations. Families and communities come together to build altars, offer gifts, and share stories that keep their loved ones’ spirits alive.

A key symbol of the holiday is La Calavera Catrina—the Elegant Skull, originally created by José Guadalupe Posada. This iconic image has become a global emblem of remembrance, resilience, and cultural pride. Decorative skulls and vibrant Catrina figures continue to define Día de los Muertos festivities around the world.

This year’s tee proudly carries the phrase “Nadie Sale Vivo De Esta Vida”,  “No one gets out of this life alive.” It’s a reminder to live boldly, love fiercely, and leave behind a legacy that outlives the body.
